Like I said in another thread, I'm done getting mad at this team. Sure, I want them to win, but I'm over being emotionally invested in a sports team that has brought me nothing but disappointment in my life.
I've been fighting a cold all week, so last night i took some nyquil about 8:45 and went to finish out the game in my bedroom. I nodded off and my wife woke me when Damien Williams scored his 2nd td (FF waiver pickup for me vs top seed in my league). I fell back asleep thinking 4 minutes and change with a 14 point lead was safe. I woke up again around midnight to take a leak and asked her the final score. She said they lost. I didn't believe her at first till I looked at my phone. Old me, that would have pissed me off and kept me up all night. Sure, the games are fun, Mahomes is great, but I've seen this story 100 times with this team. I'll go back to getting mad when they lose a Superbowl. |

If it weren't for your 10 things, and Shining reference, I'd go crazy.

I don't think anything short of Mahomes could have sucked me back in this year after the "forward progress" latest installment of fan ****age last year. So glad the Chiefs were able to come up with another one day only 20% off sale again this morning as I gained more than the normal satisfaction when deleting it. |

in the grand scheme this loss means nothing..that Pats have losses like this every year (several this year), seem down and out, then win the sb.
The difference is the way we lose games. It's almost always the refs dictating the ****ing outcome. I really wish I didnt feel that the NFL was, at least to an extent, rigged but I have too much common sense I guess. I sat row 24, 10 yard line last night (the side that all the pass interferences and holdings were called on). There is just no denying it. I was with my buddy who is impartial as he is a Seahawks fan. Even he thought it was bullshit. The holding or PI on Sorenson, dont remember which they called, right in front of me..complete horseshit. When we were up 2 scores in the 4th 28-14 he looked at me and said its over. I said nope, the refs will make this shit a one score game and then tied again..just watch. Well the Chargers went for 2 so no tie but I was right. |

I would suggest some here prepare yourselves for the real possibility that Andy retains Sutton.

Great 10 things as usual. After following the team since '87, you'd think I'd be used to these type of losses. Perhaps it wouldn't have been as bad if it wasn't on my ****ing birthday!!!

Great read george! It's not too bad considering we only got only four days before playing. We'll be fine.

Is Sutton turning into our new Matt Cassel?
They keep shoving him down our throats even when the failure is blatantly obvious. |
