A) we don’t get to see Eric Murray on the field so thats good

B) Ogbah is ranked tops amongst DL in batted balls (PDs)

* so yeah we just improved our pass defense today belive it or not by getting rid of Murray and this increasing our pass defense as a unit. I like it for that reason.
I actually think it is a popular move. No one cared about Murray.

Going for depth up front.
I could see them going for a DL with some versatility thats sort of like a hybrid between DT and DE.

Murray played like he was on ice skates.

I’d be happy if the guy were cut, let alone traded for someone of potential value.

Love you, Brett.

Some say he’s a scrub. I say he’ll be good in our system with “our coaches”. He’ll also have Chris Jones motivating him. Our culture is different from Cleveland. Great ****ing move. We’re tearing apart this defense and putting it back together for Mahomes.

I wouldn’t hate it but I’d prefer not taking Allen that early.

I think we will be selecting from Tillery, Adderley, and Bradbury.

Yeah that too.

Spags actually favors a DL rotation so this has value in that alone with the potential for more. Just never know how a change of scenery does for a player but this is a no brainer. Nothing to lose

Its more to address depth more than anything in my opinion. But overall it improved the team in more ways than one.

I'd look to do this more, and i'd start flinging late round picks for current players more often.

They still need a bendy edge guy IMO, or a legit edge rusher.

Clowney would be awesome.

You just keep talking yourself into making need picks, dontchya?

You're trying to sell yourself on Allen and Winovich as 'fine' 1st round picks. That's....wrong.

There is zero chance those are the best available options for us. I'd take Irv Smith or a WR over either of them. And yes, I'd damn sure take Bradbury over them.

Don't reach, lads. You'll regret it.

Imagine Chiefs will use Ogbah inside on 3rd downs. He's more of a technician than an edge bender.
I’ve watched some Browns clips here in the last bit and he looks like he’s pretty darn good with twists/stunts. Could see him doing a lot of that stuff with the other pass rushers we’ve got.

It’s not gonna be a predictable pass rush plan at all IMO.
