I don't think people on here hate Geno Smith as much as they hate the condescending assholes who told us all how stupid we were for not supporting them in their quest to get the future NFL HOFer drafted. And then when the Chiefs didn't draft him, those same assholes have constantly reminded us that the team made a mistake all the while cheerleading Geno from afar. During the 2012 season, I was on board with drafting Geno. But I believe, if memory serves, some things came out that suggested that he has character issues. When those issues show up with him in the NFL, it's vindication for Chiefs fans who supported our HC's and GM's decision to pass on that problem child.

I think it is absolutely comical that the people who clown Geno Smith and call him a s*** quarterback after 2 seasons are the same people who defend Alex Smith.

You have the ability to evaluate Geno after 2 seasons in the league, yet Alex gets 11 years to prove to you that he is worth a damn.

Alex as a sophomore QB actually showed a considerable amount of progress.


Also in terms of overall maturity, mindset and leadership, Geno isn't even in the same ballpark. Alex's biggest challenge was a lack of receiving talent and a new playbook every year Geno's biggest challenge is the voices in his own head.

What ever. This has nothing to do with Alex ****ing smith. this has everything to do with Geno Smith being garbage before he even got in the league. People were concerned that none of his teammates endorsed him as a leader. He showed his ass royally at the draft, and came off as aloof.

And he has shown absolutely nothing that makes anyone look and think that he is better than alex smith. Alex Smith is no world beater, but Geno is a back up, AT BEST.
