Sorry, I should have been clearer. I was referring to NFL post game interviews. You get players excited about the win all the time, but not the kind of thing we saw from Sherman.

In the grand scheme of things, it's not that big of a deal. If he wants to be known as a classless POS, that's his right. Probably won't help him with endorsements, but maybe he doesn't need any help.

Edit: Haven't watched a lot of UFC fights, but boxers tend to pump themselves up like that pretty frequently. Seems to me there is a different standard of behavior in the NFL. The general rule is more about showing respect for your opponent than doing the reverse.

maybe, regarding what youre saying about NFl vs MMA. Point is, adrenaline and competiton dont always breed tea time manners. Its a sport, a violent one at that, and emotions get very high. I just dont get the outrage.

I don't watch MMA and America is a disturbing place these days.


I'm no Crabtree fan but he was just trying to get off the field so the clock could run out. What I wonder is what thought process it took for Sherman to go from celebrating to be enraged. Crabtree didn't go along with his taunting and he didn't understand why and got pissed? Or what? His behavior was crazy.
