Rancho Cucamonga signs K Kai Forbath and P Matt Bosher, and drops K Lawrence Tynes and P Saverio Rocca.
Also, Bosher is inadvertently labeled as a K and not a P. Can we change that?

All interviews were denied.
One of the reasons we bought this team was the attractive price & the ease at which it's gonna be to relocate. It also helps that the state of Missouri & Kansas initiated a new tax that was overwhelmingly passed that paid for all moving expenses & paid our penalty for leaving. When it's all said & done we'll be making $$ on this deal. The new sliding roof stadium will be open for the '13-'14 season. The 1st 8 seasons' are so far sold out with the city guaranteeing the the next 7. There won't be any issues with a 500k waiting list. 150k is a lot of people, the new 12 lane freeway going in & out will be finished by the end of August. The money we actually gained from moving this franchise enabled us to buy a 10 square mile tree farm from Weyerhauser next to the stadium. We're currently in talks to have 70% of the purchase price refunded for naming rights to the bathrooms. So, without further ado, the roster. This roster was full of late 20, early 30 year olds. Several played their last game in '11. So the team was gutted retaining only 18 players from last year. Our early round draft picks were spent on both sides of the line. We let go of some quality players getting some back but we also gained some quality draft picks to enable us to be players in the next draft

I've fixed the availability of Kyle Williams, Will Allen, Jevon Belcher, and Denario Alexander. I've also fixed the position of Matt Bosher to punter instead of kicker.
We're mostly on track to start simulations tomorrow as scheduled. |

I would like to offer a quick note to the new players as we start up the games.
Recognize that we have a full season of games under our belt and they went very well. However, as we all know, football is the greatest game on earth in part because of its complexity and infinite scenarios. This means that, as we continue to move forward, there may still be unusual situations that occur where our simulation model does not yet have experience, and may not always make the right decision. If you see such an instance, let us know and we'll adjust the simulation going forward. (And recognize that if your game plan says that you will run 1% of the time on 4th and 10 in a hurry up offense, and you at some point run on 4th and 10 in a hurry up situation, that's not a simulation problem.) Also, recognize that all game decisions are final. Like Green Bay vs. Seattle, or like the holding call against Szott in the playoffs, gametime decisions are never reversed after the fact. So while Sandbox Simulations pays our fictional refs as full-time decisions, and we sympathize if you get victimized by a bad call, those are the breaks of the game. Good luck as we wheel Hank Williams, Jr., out of the warehouse and begin airing up the footballs!

Ok, I'm taking the site down to load the databases and run the first week of simulations. I'll let everyone know when they are posted, hopefully within an hour or two.

I'll remind everyone that the best way to view your results is to go to the League Schedule and then click the play by play of your game. That way you can "watch" the game without knowing who won. Afterwards you can check out the box score and look at the standings and stats.

It is the most fun way of viewing it. I'll admit, I had my doubts about how it could be any fun. I sorta dreaded the start of the season since it was so much fun building the team. I'm hooked, cool game.

Week 2 lineups are ready. Next sims are on Wednesday. I'll put them up earlier now that all of heavy lifting is done.

Sioux Falls starts off Week 1 with an INT and a TD run from Jay Cutler immediately. Nice start.

Geez. I had you in both leagues. I didn't put as much effort into game planning this one. The Knights should have performed better, so I need to figure out how to use my talent.
