Look. Missing on a tackle, can be over come. Does this team having a winning record two seasons in a row with Geno Smith as the starting qb.
The answer is not just no, BUT HELL no. And if you look back at that draft, not a single pick in the top 8 were worth a shit. The first player you would look at as who was showing promise was SHELDON RICHARDSON. How is that working out? So can we stop with this stupid shit. Eric Fisher is not Joe Thomas. We get that. But he at the very least is starting. Could be worse. Could of taken Dion Jordan.

The narrative that we are only dining on a shit salad instead of a shit buffet isn't exactly praiseworthy of the regime.

Once again, it was a weak draft. Cant blame This regime for a horrific crop to choose from.

Davis was a great pick as well for where he was selected.

I would have paid Albert, traded down, and taken Cordarelle Patterson. Of course he is aids too, but I will never defend making a hole in your roster just to draft the replacement.

And Patterson at #1 overall? No team would have traded down. |

The funny thing is I'd still take Fisher over Luke Joeckel and Dion Jordan. No hesitation. Those were the only 3 guys with a realistic shot of going 1st no matter what team was drafting.

They tried to trade down..nobody wanted it. Fisher isn't great but he has had a legitimate excuse for his slow start. Having shoulder surgery and unable to lift is a valid reason for not being strong enough.
