Geno Smith is better than Alex Smith

Now line up single file and apologize to Clay in this thread.

And Patterson at #1 overall? No team would have traded down.

traded down like that's an option in a draft where nobody wanted the 1st pick.

Trading down would have us taking Patterson later. There is a chance also that Albert wouldn't have been hurt, and with Fishers play, he might have well not been there. Little was controversial about Albert, but Fisher and Smith dominate much of the negative mind space.

Knowing what we know now, I'd have taken Hopkins in a redraft. Maybe one of the guards?

Shit draft though, because chiefs

He probably still contributed more than Bowe did for us though.

If Kelce turns out to be what I think he is...KC got a top 5 pick in the third round. So it kind of balances out...and Fisher is still to be determined. The LT taken at #2 hasn't done shit either.

Saying a black person didn't drink enough milk is racist...

... because pretty much everyone on Earth outside of white people have lactose intolerance issues...

I genuinely stopped caring about the Geno thing a looong time ago, but when something like this happens, its still therapeutic to tell all of his ardent fans...

Albert was hurt, Patterson has been unimpressive and Alex Smith is a far better QB than the Chiefs could have acquired since.

If you buy into the Claynus narrative, well, that's on you.

And he has shown absolutely nothing that makes anyone look and think that he is better than alex smith. Alex Smith is no world beater, but Geno is a back up, AT BEST.
In spite of everything you just said (which I don't necessarily disagree with btw), Geno Smith's first 2 seasons in the NFL were better than Alex's first 2 seasons in the NFL.

So I was just pointing out how Alex fans crucify Geno and call him trash, they fail to give him an actual chance of improving. They gave Alex 10 seasons. Geno doesn't even get 3? That's my point.

Alex was the first overall pick. Of course he would get a better chance than Geno.

No one wanted to trade up at all. Hell Miami had Brendan Albert in their facility negotiating a trade and they still didn't trade up to one . Everyone knew the draft was aids.

Yeah but that was a huge red flag. I too would of loved to of seen star and Poe next to each other but I understand why the Chiefs didn't gamble that way and why they went tackle.
