Dude....spoiler alert? I know it's not exactly a spoiler since you're saying what happened in the books instead of the show, but still....would appreciate a heads up on any even potential spoiler.

I don't think it's a spoiler. The character on the TV show doesn't appear to have anything to do with the character in the book. I would have spoiler tagged it otherwise, but I think it's a situation like Lafayette (who was dead at the beginning of book 2), where they completely changed him for television. Nothing that's happened with Russell Edgington on True Blood this season even exists in the books. Sookie's blood allowing vampires outdoors in daylight, killing Eric's family a thousand years/ties to the werewolf pack/season-long conflict between Russel and Eric - it's all completely new. So suffice to say, I've read the books, and I have no idea what's going to happen in the finale. Nothing spoiled...

I'm seeing the same thing. There's got to be something unnatural about it. The way they've focused on it during scenes with key characters for him. But they've been inconsistent with it...

It's stayed about as true to the book as Starship Troopers...

Next Season they should...

Kill Tara (preaching to the choir) or at least make her not as annoying. Maybe put some spell on her to make her caring and down to earth

More vampire fights. Enough said.

Go more into the vampire cast system. I love that stuff.

Jessica's tits.

Give Sookie some sort of power that in the right scenario can kill vampires

No more gay surprise butt sechs. Make Lafayette integrated into the main story line w/out a love interest

They've showed enough men kissing on tv that I've gotten use to it
they'll move on to thrusting under the sheets next
they feel it's their duty to make the gay lifestyle ordinary

I was pretty indifferent about it also, I was waiting for another twist like a badass Werewolf that's not a Vampire's bitch that shows up.

Tara went off to find herself -her mother is a fraud
