The floor for Sneed’s walking is not a 3rd round comp pick. It’s zero. Zilch. People throw around this comp pick talk without understanding it. |

**** trading Sneed for a 3rd rounder. That's absurd.

Verderame said the Lions and Falcons were teams that were very serious about Sneed but once they found out what he wants to be paid they bowed out.
Not shocking but Sneed wants a lot. This man want $21 million APy and the highest gauranteed money? Bc damn man.

What LT are we signing next offseason that's going to offset?
Sewell and Wirfs aren't hitting the open market. You're realistically looking at Cam Robinson, Garrett Bolles, or Taylor Decker that might hit the open market and would count against the comp pick formula, and none of those are appealing whatsoever given their respective circumstances. |

If he’s worth a ‘24 3rd + ‘25 5th or whatever it ends up being, then that’s what he’s worth right now.
We can be mad we were wrong but the market is the market. A lot of teams evaluated Sneed’s tape and determined he either A) wasn’t worth his contract asking price or B) wasn’t worth that + pick compensation above whatever the Chiefs get. We don’t gain just picks from this deal. It’s $19.2m in cap space. And we need it right now, like it or not. |

A 3rd rounder is not enough. We will get a 3rd rounder from a comp pick if he signed elsewhere.
