They never get any better, either. It's better if you get them out in the open, because you can easily outrun them and get some extra shots, but in confined spaces three or four of them can pile on and ruin your shit in a hurry. At least the deathclaws (usually) are alone.

If you have a hard time with the face thing make sure you have a flamer or the burnmaster and you can take them out pretty fast...

Where'd you get the special chinese assault rifle I don't have that.

It's on a corpse in a diner by the Jury Street Metro Station (west of Megaton). You get clues to it on various monitors in the Museum of Science.
