Paulo Orlando is an interesting prospect for KC. He is from Brazil and has worked is way up through the Chicago White Sox and the Kansas City Royals minor league systems. Last year in Omaha he batted .301 with 34 stolen bases while mainly playing Center Field and Right Field. The Royals must see something in him because they recently purchased his contract from Omaha and added him to their 40 man roster. The problem with him; he is 28 years old and he hits Right Handed Pitching real well, .321 average last year but not so good against Left Handed Pitching, .241 average last year.

"I was a big part of the bullpen for most of the year. During the playoffs, you get days off so those guys could pitch every day. But during the regular season, those guys need days off and you need other guys to come in and get the job done. And I was the guy that was called on more often than not. And some of the guys that made the postseason roster weren't in the big leagues hardly at all this season, they really didn't help us get to the point where we were, so it kind of bothered me a little bit. "But I pitched poorly at the end of the year, so there's nobody to blame but myself. Going into next year, I definitely want to get better and be a part of that roster next year."

No problem. 610 had a heyday with it (in typical offseason fashion), and I'm guessing it was enough for Moore to decide to shop him around this winter. Quote:
It didn't help that Crow was flaming hot garbage in the last two months of the season, even more troubling was his inexplicable drop in velocity, a bad, bad sign for a guy with only two pitches in his repertoire. |

Sorry...I had the info because I was just reading it.
Which brings up a question. What are some of the better Kansas City Royals sites for team news? |

I really like the Jason Frasor signing.
Even like the Aaron Crow trade more. I was so glad that we did not have to worry about Ned bringing Aaron Crow out of the bull pen during the playoffs. Maybe Aaron will find success in the Marlin's organization. |

Can Brian Flynn be converted to the bull pen?
His success as a starter in AAA has not really been good. Oklahoma kid. |

The A's are ****ing reeruned. I am now convinced. You trade away the eat Ayer on your team for a average third baseman and some prospects along with overpaying For a average DH in Butler
