WHEN POSTING TWEETS - When posting Tweets, instead of just copying the text, you can actually embed the tweet by clicking "...More" (right next to the timestamp of the tweet)-> "Embed Tweet" -> Copy the embed code, then paste that into your CP post. I can understand some hesitance there, but not enough to question the overall potency of this defense... these young guys will suffer some bumps and bruises, but the physical profile is a fit and will surely work better than an undersized and speed deficient veteran.

Our defense isn't what it was in the first 9 games. That was just luck on our part. It also isn't what it was the last 8 games including the playoff game. That was bad luck on our part. We're somewhere in the middle and with adding Dee Ford and removing the worst safety in the league, I think we're closer to being a top 5-10 defense than a bottom 20-32 defense.

We lost Houston and Hali and had to replace them with Dezmond Moses and Frank Zombo. Of course our defense took a nose dive after that. Take two premier pass rushers and replace them with special teamers and bad things will happen. This year even if they get hurt, we have Ford to step in to mitigate the loss.

I dont know if Ford is average this year Tamba and Houston are healthy and Poe stays fresh this could be a top 10 defense.

What's kind of interesting about this season is that it really puts Dorsey and Reids drafting/talent evaluation under the microscope. No high priced or highly coveted free agents or traded players to hide behind. Their guys are on display and need to step up if the team doesn't want to take a major step back.
