I read all of those pleadings and a lot of the testimony attached thereto.

really nothing matters except the fact that he put himself in that situation. good decision? no. but it is worse than what lebron has done no matter what way you cut it.


and if it was me i wouldnt pay SHIT. why?

he would look infinitely better by standing strong in his belief that he did nothing wrong than if he paid her.

When that was the point I was making all along. No fan of any team holds the high ground when it comes to nailing groupies.

They all do it. Some get caught (Wade, Bryant) others don't. LeBron has had his share of groupies as well, he just isn't married. (He has a couple of kids with his long-time live-in girlfriend, but that's different...right?)

I said it once, I'll say it again - Kobe nailed the wrong crazy cocktail waitress.

Nobody has the edge there, so it's a non-issue. In a zero-sum game, it all cancels out.

And despite your assurances, history has proven that athletes and public figures are always better served by moving on from allegations as quickly as possible. The longer you fight it, the longer it's out there and the more sordid the details. Ask Tiger if he wishes he'd have just paid the first bitch to keep her mouth shut.

As best I can tell, Jeter doesn't have a live-in girlfriend that he's sired multiple children with. He's been with this girl for a decade and has a 6 year old and a 3 year old with her.

James' take on it:

So he thinks of her as his wife and still sleeps around. Essentially, in his mind - James is cheating on his spouse. And that's what your talking about here, their personal morals. The legalities are immaterial as infidelity isn't criminal. It's all a character judgment and LeBron's character in cheating on someone he thinks of as his wife is no better or worse than Kobe's character in cheating on someone the law recognizes as his wife.

NOBODY has the high ground here.

I'm sure you could come up with many more examples. However, when it comes to loyalty and character if you cheat on a spouse, to me you have none, and I'm big on loyalty.
