The ww2 stuff is meh. War time, and is "jap" really that bad"? Not sure how the posters were supposed to address the war enemy. Seems no worse than us calling the Germans "krauts"

Does anyone remember Sambos? In Pensacola back in the 70's after going out at Triple Decker Big Daddy's we would all hit Sambos for breakfast. Ate there many times, mostly drunk. I just looked them up and they had over 1100 restaurants by 1979 but went bankrupt in 1981 when a lot of towns stopped allowing the use of the name. |

Ah yes, there was a Sambo's in this town back in the 70's before it became a Tops Big Boy... pictures of cartoon big lipped darkie boys on the walls and everything.
