Agreed. Dear Lord, is that the best we could do? Can we exhume Grant Wood and get him to work on this?

They should have a trophy with Jack Trice and Nile Kinnick going against each other.

Yeah - I don't usually talk trash for this game because sometimes it ends up like this. There were enough defensive moments to keep that game turned on but it looks like Iowa has half a team and they're going to be lucky to win 2 more on the year. Kinda glad they don't have PSU this year.

Vandenberg is terrible. It's bad enough we have to watch Cassel as Chiefs fans, but now we have to watch his kid brother as Hawkeye fans...

No doubt he's not that good. He is hampered with a shitty running game and no real down the field threats. I wonder how many drops they had too.

The last INT was definitely on him though.

I agree he had zero help from receivers today, but it's been two games and he hasn't shown a thing. He's thrown checkdown after checkdown, and ignored wide open receivers. This only adds to the doubt after his ridiculously inconsistent play last year. Like Cassel, he inflated his stats against weak competition. His time as the starter can't end soon enough.

Keenan Davis continues to prove me right also. Early in his career he dropped about every other pass thrown to him. While he played better than expected last year, he seems to be back to his old self again..
