I've been drunk three or four times in my entire life. I don't do drugs. Allow me the vice of high-sodium canned soup.

Progressive is high sodium, too. And it tastes better. I just want you to eat better soup.

You've never been drunk if you haven't been Rausch drunk.

I'm almost shocked that urban-shaman hasn't been added to the list of electives around here.

It's the difference between eating shrooms and going shoe shopping with your grandmother or eating shrooms and playing 9 holes of shotgun golf with Hunter S. Thompson...

Denver rookie QB John Elway, on Jack Lambert, after Lambert and the Steelers knocked Elway out of his first game as a pro (1983).

The Italian nightclub from Jimmy Johns is my fav. Their bread is the best, fresh every single time. You won't get that at subway anymore.

As to the original topic, my thoughts are:

Burger King - Not really a fan. Their burgers taste funny and their fries aren't very good.

Dunkin' Donuts - They're doughnuts. How can a person not like doughnuts? I'm just glad there's not one anywhere close to where I live, work, and play.

KFC - KFC is near the top of the fast-food mountain. If I'm on the road needing food and I see a KFC, I cut the wheel and go.

Taco Bell - I don't dislike it, but I'm not a huge fan. The flavors don't appeal to me that much.

McDonald's. I like it. The french fries are awesome, and even though the burgers feel very manufactured, they're pretty good. I always feel like their soda formulas are off, though, so it's not the place to stop if you just want a soda.

If you use this as a list of fast food places, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of...taurant_chains, then I probably do the following over the course of a typical year.

Panda Express - 8 visits (It's at the airport and I love it so.)
McDonald's - 3 visits (really kind of six half-visits. I walk by one on my way home and will sometimes grab a Value Meal burger or small order of fries while I'm walking, with nothing else)
Red Robin - 3 visits (It's a great calorie splurge after a race.)
Chili's - 3 visits (Same as above.)
Pizza Hut - 3 visits (Well, deliveries.)
Chick Fil-A - 1 visit
Boston Market - 1 visit
Papa John's - 1 visit
Qdoba - 1 visit
Jimmy John's - 1 forced visit because someone brings it to a business meeting
Applebee's, Arby's, Chipotle, Corner Bakery, Dairy Queen, KFC - Combine for 1 visit per year.

So I guess I hit a fast food place once every two weeks or so according to this definition. That sounds about right.

I guess I'm going to die before 35, here is how my intake of out to eat would be for the last year.

Outback Steakhouse - 14 times
Longhorn - 6 times
Any nice generic out to eat sit down restaurant - 130 times (Mestizo, 801 Chophouse, Ra, K-Machos, Italian places etc)
Texas Rdhouse - 4 times
Fogo De Chao - 4 times
Em Chamas - 2 times
Chik-Fil-A - 16 times
McDonalds - 10 times
Arbys - 24 times
KFC - 14 times
DQ - 8 times
Applebees - 2 times
Dominoes, Papa Johns, Pizza Hut - 12 times
Burger King - 2 times
Five Guys - 2 times
Smashburger - 1 time
Panda Express - 20 times
Chinese sit down restaurant - 20 times
Oklahoma Joes - 12 times
Jack Stack - 4 times
Other BBQ - 5 times
Long John Silvers - 3 times
Sonic - 10 times

And I'm sure I'm forgetting TONS of places. I have to be underestimating this because if there is 365 days in a year, I eat out to eat at least twice a day on average, per day. I'm a dead man walking. I haven't cooked anything in over 5 years.

How do people rank McDonald's burgers ahead of Burger King? I always remember the distinctive grilled flavor of Burger King being so much better.

Burger King burgers have a burnt taste to them. I guess it's supposed to be a grill or smoke flavor, but they taste burnt and chemical-laden.
