He didn't get fired for drafting Mahomes. He could have had pretty much any QB yet took the one most unlike Smith. And he traded up for that guy. If everything else was the reason why Smith was being held back then they would have gone and got him more weapons earlier in the draft. Smith is limited because of himself, not the OLine, receivers, RBs, scheme, HC etc....

This either doesnt add up or is laughable.

The top 4 protected QBs on 3rd down.
Not surprisingly 3 of them rank in the top ten on 3rd down plays, as one would expect as they see the least amount of pressure on that down........ the other ranks 30th?

rushing yards ranking - 15

passing yards ranking - 19

(pittsburg had 12 more rushing yards than kc last year FYI)
