I know its an obvious joke, bit it isn't like the Chiefs picked the mystery guy who was a scrub. Leon Sandcastle killed it at the combine (in the context of the commercial). Whether or not Deion really still has it to keep up with these young guys isn't part of the joke. They are suggesting he still can whip all their butts and if you wanna find out who the real board climbers are, you should tune into the combine on their network. Really nothing more than device to show that once the Super Bowl is over, there's a reason to keep following football on NFLN.
Nothing was done at the expense of the Chiefs here really, IMO. |
