Don't know. I'm content that we won't hire a coach that has had major HC experience, but I want to hire an assistant at a top program, that has Big XII experience.

Janko is no fool. He'd never take this job.

Good try though.

Steve Henson has been around the horn as an assistant. Maybe he's the guy.

The best hires KSU has ever made came out of the Juco ranks. Fitzsimmons and Hartman.

He would seem to be a good coach, for sure. Good pedigree, nonetheless, plus a KState alumni.

I was thinking that KU doesnt have any brotha asst coaches now that Norm Roberts is gone... Sure Danny is on the bench, but he is Vp of basketball operations or some shit... KU needs another brother on the bench to help recruit. JMO.

Today Jim accomplished a 16 point lead against Oklahoma with 19:30 to play.

Today JIm managed to coach OU back in the game by paying absolutely no attention to Drew Lavender. Lavender didn't even see the floor until 16:00 minutes to play in the 1st half.
Yet Jim's D acted as though he were not there. In 26 minutes of play Lavender scored 27 points and brought his team back by driving the length of the court in 4.3 sec's and throwing up a fucking prayer ala Tyus Edney that hit the rim 3 mf'ing times before the Gods of basketball decided it should fall.

Ok, so Jim's team has dropped 6 straight and look to be fighting it out with Baylor for 12th in the conference.

There is talent here, but that talent does not play defense well. That's coaching lads.

I've seen many heartbreaking losses in long fandom of KSU Bball. Most of them have been NCAA tourney losses.

This one was the most pathetic.

Losing ala Tyus Edney can't be near as bad as being the ones that actually lost to Tyus Edney.

So who's the replacement? He obviously has to go... he's had 5 years and hasn't been able to do jack. Heck, you guys ran Altman for less... and his teams were winners!!

Let me throw a name out there... see what you think: Matt Doherty

Tim Jankovich
Doherty, maybe. He seems to want to get back in to coaching.
Roy Halladay
Nolan Richardson (maybe)
