It seems our old pal QuikSsurfer feels the need to CONSTANTLY use inappropriate language.

GD in the thread title was shitty... i literally cringe when I hear or see that word. IN thread titles, its totally inappropriate, especially since his threads involve berating him for several days, so its on the front page for a long time...

Personally I would put a filter for GD and change it to "shucky darn" or something... heh. **** offends me Zero, but GD is a commandment, after all.

IMO, this guy has earned his CP KICK ME sign because he's a moron and primarily annoys people by being a moron. The language just seems to be incidental. Banning him for cussing seems to me to be just a means to a desired end that could just as easily be accomplished by using IGNORE.

I don't give a crap if the guy gets banned or not, but there are LOTS of people here (myself included) who use foul language generally. I personally prefer not to start down the slippery slope of censorship.

Though I do find that the majority of posters here show a good deal of integrity and respect (especially in contrast to other places on the internet), there are still those who love to take part in any kind of (allow me to use the chiefsplanet language) douchebaggery. As far as I can tell, it's been fine. I can't stand that one of the reasons this guy is being chastised, though, is because of a lack of respect, based off of him using the term "GD." If you look hard enough, there are plenty of other reasons to jump in his shit, so please leave the false hurt feelings at home.
As far as a ban, coming from a still relativvely new poster, I say that's hogwash. Warn him (though it could be said that he ws warned even before this, as bypassing a filter is bypassing a defacto "warning"), and if he continues, then sure, ban away. But please don't cry "disrespect" for him using a word which isn't even on filter.

I say no, it is freedom of speech (a lot of us break the bb rules). I like GD about as much as I like the N word, I never use either of them, however if a person chooses to than so be it. We all offend people everyday, some more than others. If it is an issue couldn't the Mods put an additional filter out there for this word?

I don't care who drops what kind of cuss bombs on here, but I can't stand to hear the GD word. I like some other people on here don't attend church on a regular basis, but do believe in god and that is one word I hate to see or hear.
