Everyone who doesn't like the talk about the coaches' race won't have to endure it very much longer. Going forward, it really won't matter and that is a great thing.

Congratulations... so you understand the significance of kids and their need to learn by example or experience rather than merely trying to understand some abstract idea that they have no connection with.

Hell, it's not even just kids... I'm sure you consider yourself an eternal student of your artwork. You observe other artists, gain inspiration from visual experiences, etc.

Imagine trying to become a great artist based on someone telling you... "hey kid, I know you've never even so much as seen a crayon before, but trust me... you can be a great artist".

You of all people should likely appreciate the role of seeing something done before really understanding what it means and believing that you might be able to do that yourself.
