Ridiculous, and she clearly isn't intelligent enough (or maybe is too self-absorbed) to realize it.

I'm sorry, but I'd classify this as "harmless" fun, and the odds of anyone just happening to find a noodlearm stalker site on a web search are slim and none, so what harm, exactly, can be done.

Oh well, rarely does she say or do anything that makes sense.

I used this board's search engine to look up the word "stalker". The only hit that came up was from Misplaced_Chiefs_Fan's post on 6-25-2001 at 3:37 p.m. on the "Were you a Girbac or an anti Girbac fan last year?" thread:

However, DanT has been noticeably absent the past couple of days and he certainly possesses the necessary wit to pull such a stunt off. Also, with his internet savvy (using the board's search engine, etc.), I wonder if he could be the gannonstalker...... hmmmmm

As someone already pointed out, this is not my "style" [cruel and relentless] although I must confess that I admire KCGannonStalker's ruthless application of sarcasm, satire and parody. The anguished and sadly public resonse of the victim on PigSkin Park is almost painful to read.

Besides, website construction is beyond an HTML-impaired clod like me.

I almost feel I should apologize here for continuing to build this thread. Unfortunately, this is the most interactive forum available to me on the topic of <a href=http://kcgannonstalker.homestead.com">The Site</a>. I am quickly tiring of the false accusations leveled at me by the holier-than-thou individual in question, but am unable to respond freely on PsP due to a certain individuals' status as moderator.

I honestly do not feel that I have done anything illegal in the creation of the site. The "gray areas" that have been brought to my attention have been promptly corrected, and that will continue to be the case.

In no instance has material or content been "lifted" directly from that other place, as continues to be alleged in a public forum. I have not received proper notice from any property owner that I have improperly used their property. If anything appears on both sites it is clearly not "stolen," comprises less than 1% of the site's content, and I believe would be protected under copyright "fair use" definitions as allowed for parody and commentary. I am not an attorney (nor do I work with attorneys), so I could be mistaken. I have put forth effort to familiarize myself with "fair use" doctrine and believe I am in compliance.

At no point have I accused anyone else of committing "a crime and/or of having an affair with another person..." In no way is Rich Gannon's "good name" being "tarnished." (And if it was, I believe that to be completely legal when presented as opinion of a public figure.) In fact, I took time to write and publish a response that clarified my position on Rich Gannon and commended him on his involvement with a worthwhile organization. (That clarification, oddly enough, was greeted with another laughable response regarding the use of "BraveKids" and provision of a link to their site.) If Rich Gannon or a verifiable representative of Rich Gannon asks that I remove his likeness from the site, I will comply. If BraveKids requests that I remove the reference to their organization, I will remove the reference.

The only original reference to that other place was in place to clarify that the site was a parody of an existing site. That reference was in place from the start to eliminate any confusion or misunderstanding regarding the purpose of the site. The additional references to that other place's author are only there in response to what I consider to be false and defamatory statements.

Claims that I have violated Homestead's terms of use have yet to be substantiated. The claim that The Site is "misleading to others, including but not limited to, consumers" is farcical. While the content may be distasteful to some, I do not feel that it qualifies as "unlawful, harmful, threatening, abusive, harassing, tortious, defamatory, vulgar, obscene, libelous, invasive of another's privacy, hateful, or racially, ethnically or otherwise objectionable." Only someone suffering from a delusional fugue would see any attempt to "impersonate any person or entity or falsely state or otherwise misrepresent your affiliation with a person or entity."

Honestly, I have come to enjoy what began as a 2 hour weekend project even more than I originally thought I would, and I thank you all for allowing me to occupy your time and bulletin board space.
