For myself, all I can say is that I hope Waters comes back. I'm not worried about him missing some/most of training camp. I'm very confident that if/when he shows up, he'll perform fine. Just don't retire buddy!

I certainly hope you're right, and this is another Roman Phifer situation. We can't afford to lose Waters because of some bullshit. As much as I love BB, he has a penchant for cutting off his nose to spite his face sometimes. Each year it seems there's a position he leaves himself bare at, through questionable player-cutting and ignoring the need. One year it might be running back, one year it's WR, last year it was defensive backfield, and this year it might be the O-line. With the improvements the Pats made on D, it would be a shame if the O and D are both great and the only reason the Pats lose is because there aren't enough Fat Guys to keep Brady's uniform clean.

I agree with this. They won't notice.

He was a solid player for us, but a pain in the ass and a whiner. He sure has milked his being mic'd up on MNF agains the Ravens. With that said, I still love watching those highlights!

I'm sure he was, he is a good player. I just got sick of hearing the experts bash us for letting him go, he wanted out of here and played like it. He often let DL just drive him back into the back field, gave up easy sacks and killed run plays.

From 2008 through 2010 he was the 2nd best pass blocking guard in the NFL (per PFF's grading).
