Assuming Albert gets traded, what would you like the Chiefs to do...

The Chiefs will have $10 million additional in cap room.

What free agents, if any, would you like the Chiefs to pursue?

Could have 7-8 years left.

Or you could just take Bostic in the 3 round.

From the latest big board I saw Kiper didn't even have Geno in his top 25, he has Joeckel top 5 but he has Fisher above him. CBS big board has Joeckel #1 and Geno #9. WalterFootball has Joeckel #1, Geno #30. Sports Illustrated has Joeckel #1, Geno # 24, they bumped him up 2 spots after his pro day. The point is to anyone saying they have flexibility for BPA at #1 is that Geno is not BPA according to almost everyone. If he was no way they give up a 2nd rounder for Alex Smith when they could have signed one of a number of available vets for cheap if they wanted to develop Geno behind someone else.

If they trade Albert, spend the money on a pair of pass rushers so we can stack our sub packages.

Anyone know what Suttons favorite alignment is in the nickel?

There won't be much meltdown on draft day. The meltdown will happen if Alex flops and Geno turns out to be the real deal.

Well the jets used a bunch of different stuff. Couldnt tell you if it was rex or him, but they would essentially have 6 guys standing up moving around at times.

Apparently the Dolphins are trying to assemble the Chief's O-Line from last year . . . .

miamiherald.typepad.com/sports-buzz/2013/03/dolphins-summon-draft-prospects-for-visits-lots-of-fins-heat-canes-marlins-chatter.html

"Winston update; UM, UF tip times announced; Fins book more draft visits; Heat, Canes

The Sunday buzz column is below. First, two quick late Sunday night updates:

1) Agent Drew Rosenhaus said on his weekly WSVN-7 segment that free agent offensive tackle Eric Winston "would really like to play" for the Dolphins and that the Dolphins have interest, but that the situation is "fluid." But the Dolphins have had a week to strike a deal since he visited and so far have not.

The Dolphins, as of Saturday, had not shown any interest in free agent Bryant McKinnie, who also has expressed interest in the Dolphins. Miami also has considered a trade for Kansas City tackle Branden Albert."

Sorry, if repost . . . . .

I don't get the impression that Albert is much of a leader. Eric Winston and Ryan Lilja were the leaders of the line last year, IMO. Now they're looking for a new one whether Albert is here or not.

Yup.

I'd love to see us pull a Rams and trade down. Perhaps add a young CB like Xavier or even trade down again and go QB....

Denver rookie QB John Elway, on Jack Lambert, after Lambert and the Steelers knocked Elway out of his first game as a pro (1983).
