Can't tell me we aren't going to get a good player at 37. Now, hopefully it's Alexander or Jack.. |

Mackensie Alexander,A'Shawn Robinson,Noah Spence,Myles Jack and Kevin Dodd will all go right in front of us, just like all the WRs/CBs did in the 1st round.
we will probably grab a guard or something. Dorsey can lick my ass.

You guys beating the drum for miller at 37 or 59? because idk if he's there at 59.
Titans are rumored to be in love with him and they have 3 picks before the chiefs pick at 59. |

You're probably right. 7 ****ing back end player went in round one. We got none of them and there is zero reason to think we will get o e of the guys we need being and damn CB. No effing way Alexander will be there. It's just not likely.

I have seen predictions as early as late 1st, I have seen predictions go as far as early 3rd round, personally I think he will be gone mid-way through the 2nd round, he has too much talent IMO. Being a big Ohio State fan, I watched Spence a ton. The guy is a machine, he pretty much screwed himself by getting into trouble (Molly) transferred to Eastern Kentucky, tore it up (like he should). If he wouldn't have got himself into trouble he would have been a top 10 pick. He is a freak show, I would love to get him.

59 feels like OL to me. I would say WR but I think they like Streeter, Williams and Connely. Dorsey probably thinks one of them will really impact this year but we need another guard.
At 37 who the hell knows. We were not lucky in the first to have a good CB fall to us I doubt Alexander will be there and past him I don't care.

Other than taking a LT in the first, Dorsey took a CB and an edge rusher in 2 of his first 3 picks. And he's been very consistent about placing mostly low positional value on OL otherwise. So I have a lot more confidence in this regime to at least go for a high risk high reward guy.

Big Buckeye fan here, but with the WR corps we have now I would take Shephard over Miller. Its tough because I think Miller was incredibly hindered by Cardale playing QB for over half the season, because Cardale just sucked at QB in our system. If JT was QB all year and got into a groove, I think Miller would be a lot more polished. He is a 100% freak, but I don't see him being anything more than a gadget guy, deep threat the first couple years. I would prefer a more polished WR, we need that. If you had a loaded WR corps, and you wanted another fun potential game breaker and you can afford the gamble, I would take him in a heartbeat in the early 2nd.

Out of the two? yes.. easily Shepard >>>> Miller for the Chiefs.
Miller will likely be good and ready 2 years down the road, but Shepard is as ready as a rookie WR can get NOW. A guy like Shepard can quickly push Albert W. down the depth chart, and even cut into Conley's snaps, if he doesn't step it up.

Jarran Reed, A'shawn Robinson and Andrew Billings have all been 1st Rd projections for quite awhile, and Jihad Ward has been linked to the 1st for awhile.

Yeah, I don't like Miller. Say No to 24 year old projects.

which look like stronger prospects?
2015 Landon Collins, Donovan Smith, Mario Edwards Jr, TJ Yeldon, Preston Smith, Devin Smith, Eddie Goldman, DGB, Devin Funchess, Bernardick McKinney, Jalen Collins 2014 Xavier Su'a Filo, Derek Carr, Ra'Shede Hageman, Austin Sefarian-Jenkins, Marqise Lee, Kyle Van Noy, Lamarcus Joyner, Jordan Matthews, Joe Bitonio, Demarcus Lawrence, Cyrus Kouandijo How do those 2nd Rd prospects compare to what we have available today? It sure doesn't look like Dorsey or John Schneider were wrong. This draft has a ton of talent left.
