Hunt and Dorsey

Everyone wants to make this about Andy Reid. Maybe this had nothing to do with Reid. Maybe this was 100% between Hunt and Dorsey (for whatever reason).

I remember the awkward moment they had on draft day when Mahomes was drafted. Watch the last 10 seconds or so of this video. Maybe it's nothing, but it sure looked awkward. The fumbled hand shake degenerating to a hand/fist bump; then Dorsey puts both hands behind his back and Clark gives Dorsey his back as he walks off with no further interaction. I'm no psychologist, but that looks like some awkward body language to me, especially between an owner and GM that just made a bold move to get a franchise qb.

Think about it, Mahomes is Dorsey's signiature deal. If Mahomes becomes a stud, Clarkbar looks like an idiot for dumping Dorsey. This could not have happened at a worse time.
If Mahomes becomes a stud none of this matters, its hard to loose with stud/franchise QBs. Everybody wins.

Where I think you are on the right track is if Mahomes struggles he may get the hook quicker than he would if the guy that drafted him was here. While its likely all agreed on the move I think this was Dorseys deal.

So Clark HAS been putting the kibosh on the drafting of 1st round QBs...

Dorsey was the hero, not that we deserved, but the one we needed.

Just being facetious, but basing it on what we are seeing in the OP.

I thought it was pretty clear.

Facetious: treating serious issues with deliberately inappropriate humor

Tell that when we have no cap to extend Peters or kelce. Canning Dipshit Dorsey was the best move the franchise has made in a long time. This allows us to get better free agents. The fact that he tried to **** around Eric Berry, shows he didn't belong in the front office.

Just enough to tease us. He will take the Tyler Bray route as we churn through 5th Dr QBs, and return to our ways of hoping a SF QB becomes available.
