Actually a lot of the time the offensive line deserves a lot of credit too on screen plays... if they don't get out in space and pick up defenders the screen gets blown up. Anybody who has actually watched Chiefs football in the last 10 years should understand that.

Thinking about this.....so in reality the credit goes to the RB and all his blockers, because without them he goes nowhere.

So you need to adjust your % of credit otherwise you are looking bad here.

Definitely can't disagree with you, but in the playoffs this luxury is not going to be extant. We need AS to have good games against great opponents, of which this year he hasn't really done. And he definitely can't have anymore of those three game stretches where he doesn't throw a TD at all. If he does that we are toast yet again in the playoffs.

There is no comparison.

That is all you've watched of Manning? Of course there's no comparison. But many, MANY, of Manning's TDs are WR screens.

Here's a good way to handle today. Instead of using it to reaffirm your shaky position that Smith sucks, how about, good day by Smith, great day by the blockers down field, amazing day by Charles.

If the Raiders couldn't stop the screen pass while they blitzed then **** em. I'm glad we finally threw some great screens to Jamaal that broke into long TD's.
