Next week is the dress rehearsal. Reid traditionally does not fare well against his buddy Fox. We will see if Sutton cranks it up, or if this playing scared look from the defense is legit. In a complete 180 degree turn, the defense is a real concern compared to the last couple years. Not at all worried about the #1 offense.

But I sure as shit pray that the ghosts of Dick Vermiel and Greg Robinson stay the **** outta Arrowhead. There may be some track meets this year....

Looked to me like the lbs weren't playing disciplined either. DJ has had issues with that in the past but he did appear to settle down as the game went on.

I wouldn't go full on worry about the defense.

Eric Murray, DJ White and Justin March all started their first NFL games tonight and it showed. Berry, Gaines and Mauga have proven to be much better, not to mention Tamba coming back.
Just like last week. Ramik Wilson and Sorenson gave up big plays and they won't start.

Secondary giving up passes worries me though. It's a cause for concern seeing It 2 weeks in a row and relying solely on Gaines.

I actually predicted Mauga to be cut not too long ago you ****in moron, but his gap discipline and solid overall run defense is needed at least early on in the season. We cannot start March and Wilson with what they've shown so far, even though I have high hopes for March's future.
