Asked if Berry would be ready to go on Sunday in Los Angeles, coach Andy Reid was non-committal.

“We’ll see,” he said Monday. “It’s day-to-day. We’ll see how it goes.”

Honestly, most people would agree with you. But after the Tyson Jackson pick Pioli needed to draft the safest pick possible and at the time most chief fans were relieved he did.

Yup. Seen this movie with Charles and Houston. Dont know why the Chiefs do this it makes the medical staff look incompetent.

It has nothing to do with his heart or soul, we know he wants to be great... but maybe his body has had enough

Tendonitis, arthritis and other tendon problems manifest sometimes years after chemo. It's not FOR SURE this is happening, but that's where the major worry comes from.

Achilles Tendons, specifically, are named as a big problem.

What happened in 2011? Berry, Charles, and Moeaki all out with season-ending ACL injuries. By week 3.

There's just a rash of them every year between the start of camp and the end of September. THAT is the 'new norm' (statistics back me up)

JC had more than one ACL tear, and far as I know, dude never had chemo...but he DID have more than one ACL tear since 2011 (bumdumbedum).

I think we can separate Berry from all the others when it comes to his heel/achilles. Obviously cancer isn't the reason for anybody else.

Maybe it really is a sore heel. They sure do sound weird every time they talk about it, though.

Feels more and more like he's done. Cancer treatment made his body weaker and it can't heal properly. It will be one issue after another the whole year. Chiefs stuck with him and paid him through cancer and he stuck it to them at contract time like an asshole. Not one dollar cheaper for our loyalty. If he misses this game because of a sore heel then he's a sorry ass.
