I still think Powell has a chance. I think he just might be slow upstairs. Which is why he started slow in college and didn't do shit last year.

Aren’t basically all contracts for draft picks 4 years in length? Unless a drafted player is released and signs elsewhere they should never end up hitting ERFA or RFA at all.

I believe he had something like a month or two at max to prepare after the surgery on his foot. Really would not put that much weight into his testing. Is he blazing fast? No chance. But I don't think he's THAT slow either.
