So could somebody please assure me that this switch doesn't mean we'll waste the #1 overall pick on somebody for the 4-3?
We're taking Geno, right? We're taking a QB? Please say yes. |

I'd like to think that with Reid and Dorsey coming in....that they're going to see the absolute need to draft a QB at this point.
I'd also like to think that Reid sees a smarter, more accurate Donovan McNabb in Geno Smith. But not knowing what defense they're going to run......scares the shit out of me when it comes to the draft. |

But that's not what we have. We have no QB, and there's a franchise guy sitting right there. |

I would HATE this ugh.
I don't mind the move to the 4-3, in fact I welcome it. But hiring a 73 year old man who has run the Cover 2 predominantly? I see people talking about a Seattle blueprint, but do you guys really expect a 73 year old to adapt and change the core principles of his defense? Hope I'm wrong. |

If that's the case, he changed his core principles a few years ago already. |

In reality Poe may be a perfect fit for the SDE spot.
RUSH who do you think taught Carroll the 4-3 under... It was that old geezer Kiffin. He was the master of the under before he developed the Tampa 2. |

Dont like that move at all. Taking the strongest part of the defense and depleting it. Hali always got his shit pushed in against the run and youll have 2 unknowns at defensive tackle plus who will be the other d end? **** that.

Again, the 4-3 under would be a way to run the 4-3 with our existing personnel and not have to shoehorn the defense. I will say this. A 1-gap 4-3 under is INFINITELY better than the 2-gap SHIT we've seen the last couple of years, 3-4 or not. |
