The NFL also has the famous "Rooney rule" which stipulates that a franchise must interview at least one minority through it's process. 1. What makes you think there's any chance in hell that Gannon would leave his cushy broadcast job in which he makes upwards of $2 million per year for about 8 hours of work for an 80 hour work week where he'd make less than 300k per year?

K.F. is NOT leaving Iowa.

His son is a redshirt freshman on the football team and his other son I think is a soph. in HS....he said he wasn't leaving for a long time and wasn't an option for NFL teams.

Most coaches will deny leaving until the time comes in case the new job falls through and so they don't get fired from the current one just in case.
