My best friend has a PhD in Physics - he loves that movie. Says it completely captures what it's like to be a graduate student. Especially the way the professor was a vile, lazy, parasitic snake taking credit for the hard work of his students.

Blasphemy!
McQueen just rolled over in his grave! As stated earlier....running man (which it will be tough to top Dawson's performance). I heard a new robocop was on the way.... And I believe a remake of Logan's run is in the works as well. I've always wanted more "coming to America"....but that's probably just me wishing for Eddie to be the old Eddie. Someone else mentioned carpenters prince of darkness....that was an excellent story hindered by so so acting that could stand a reboot

Also.....Clive barker's Nightbreed was an amazing book....and such a letdown film (cheesy effects). Lots of potential there with new technologies.

It would be fun to see Sarah Jessica Parker reprise her role as Mitch!

until Gran Torino....this was my fav Eastwood movie. now...I'm not sure. I ****ing LOVE this movie! bad lines and all! "It's a helluva thing killing a man, you take away all he's got...and all he's ever gonna have." it just KICKS ASS! "Well I guess he had it coming." "We've ALL got it coming." "You better bury Ned right; and don't go cuttin' up... nor otherwise harm no whores, or I'll come back and kill every one of you sons-a-bitches." I love this movie. to each his own I reckon.....

Little Bill Daggett: Well, sir, you are a cowardly son of a bitch! You just shot an unarmed man! Will Munny: Well, he should have armed himself if he's going to decorate his saloon with my friend. Also, not that I always agree with the Academy, but I think I will take their opinion over Friendo. I've always wanted The Towering Inferno remade with a modern budget and effects. That could be sweet. McQueen and Newman were so Boss in that. Who could play those roles nowdays? Pitt and Clooney?
