Seems like we are going into full "win-now mode" and they gotta help Alex Smith be as successful as he can.
And you "win now" by drafting offensive linemen?

If we don't reach a deal with Bowe and are forced to franchise him, Albert is long gone.

Some team is going to throw some serious $$$ at Bowe or Albert (whichever one we don't tag).

Carl Nicks got $47.5 million and he's a ****ing Guard. Albert is gonna get an offer of at least $55 million IMO. Some team will need a LT and overpay for him.

The LT market is saturated this year. We aren't tagging anyone so move the **** on.

If you are going win now, you don't bring in an start a rookie LT. So that flies directly in the face of what you are suggesting.

We have already been told they will not under any circumstance tag Albert.

Someone will want to trade up. We won't get much for it, but soemone will trade up.

If you aren't going to take a QB, reach for a player who will provide value to your team, b/c no one is going to trade up.

Just take Milliner, Dion Jordan, Mingo, or Damontre Moore. Shit, take Vacarro, but don't take a ****ing tackle.

Floyd is a ****ing beast. There is a reason why he's been mocked high since the beginning.

Floyd moved from DE to his more comfortable position of DT last year.

I've actually thought about that. IF we can't trade out, I'd much rather take Jordan, Mingo or Milliner.

**** though, if we do infact re up Albert, it's still almost the thing to do, even with all thats gone down, to just take a QB there.

Watch Albert end up getting every dime he wants, from a contender.

Geno isn't just better than all of the QBs in those drafts, he may be one of the best QB prospects EVER

If teams think KC is going QB, and they want QB, they know we wouldn't trade down. They trade up to #1 to get in front of JAX, or to prevent another team from trading up with us so they can get who they want.

We didn't **** ourselves in trade value. We don't have anyone in front of us. People can make us any offer they want, who we are taking is of no relevance in the trade market.

And for the record, if we trade down, we lose. Teams that trade out of the #1 hole never win.

Why would we lose?

There is a lot of compensation that could come out of trading out of the #1 spot.

If anything, I fear that were stuck at #1. I don't think teams will want to trade up that high and give up a lot of compensation in return.

I've posted it before. If you look over the last 30 years or so every team that traded out of the 1 whole got screwed. Every. Single. One.

A team doesn't trade out of the #1 slot and win the trade.
