yea i was right

so even if they sign him at 8, the dead money is well over 4. So they would be shelling out more than 12 million after this stupid mistake, rather than just keeping him at the 12 million deadline.

A bet a lot of players are getting tired of contracts that the teams don't have to fulfill, and I bet Dumervil wasn't exactly happy to hear Elway say, "...when you look at the market and what's out there now. It's (his salary) so far out of whack. Hopefully, he realizes that."

It wouldn't surprise me in the least if Dumvervil just gave Elway a big FU.

Would cost way too much money, I dont see it. he is already getting a chunk of change basically for free from being cut. Now he can go sign with another team and plop some more on top
