Cavs vs. Spurs

I'm sooooo glad the Cavs are in it, or I wouldn't be watching. Well...I love the NBA, so I'd still watch but not as closely as I would if the Pistons made it.

Should be a good series. Regardless of what people are saying, the Cavs have a shot, especially with the 2-3-2 format.

Can't wait!

Good to see San Antonio get their 4th, only because Detroit choked away a perfectly good opportunity to get there. I don't really care about the ratings and what team is there. I personally enjoy watching a defensive, fundamental basketball game.
4 titles, that's special, if you are smearing them because you don't like their style of play - you're mental.

Its not LeBrooms fault, its the NBA's fault. They should of never put the Cavs into the finals.

Had Carmello not gone to Syracuse for that one year, he'd be the 8th man on some cellar-dwelling team in Greece, don't you know?

Those college coaches are the greatest X's and O's guys in the league...that's why they're making 1/3rd the salary of NBA coaches, don't you know?

My guess is that the Spurs have at least one more title in them in the next 2 years or so.

At least. Parker just turned 25, and Ginobili is still in his twenties. Duncan will be productive five more years as well. Parker is one amazing player, and he's only going to get better. I've never seen a 175 pound little guy use his body to get to the rim like he does before. I don't know how he does it. If he could ever develop the 3 pointer like Nash, he would be impossible to guard.

He'd have been crazy to go through the NCAA system from an economic viewpoint. And I'd be wasting my time to watch him now, from a basketball viewpoint. The kid didn't learn basketball. He learned Lebronball. Why bother watching that?

Again, I've never seen the kid play, and I won't bother watching him any time soon. If I hear a rumor that he's learned how to play team ball, I might take an evening to see if that's true, but it's unlikely.

The kid's getting his cash. Good for him.

You're right, because the ownership of his team thought that Lebron was all they needed. The NBA doesn't even play basketball anymore. Cleveland got exactly what their franchise deserved.

A few years back Cleveland State played more competitive basketball.

What are you trying to prove here other than the fact that you are the resident village idiot?

You admit to not even having watched the Cavs, yet you lampoon the NBA product despite nearly all reputed columnists saying that the NBA is flush with more talent than any time since the late 1980's.

So Cleveland either deserved the #1 overall pick. or their first Conference Championship?

Which one is more of a punishment?

And you accuse me of having a narrow understanding of history?

The only things that come to mind when I think of the Spurs on personality aspects is Tim Duncan has nothing to say and Bruce Bowen is an asshole but for some reason people think that means he's a great defender.

So you'd be a big Spurs fan if Duncan would cheat on his wife and have anal sex with some dumb bitch at a hotel?

Bulls**t. You're a whore to everything West coast, plain and simple.
