giving up two runs for HoRam ERA was shrewd. I think he really wants out from under the stigma of having the highest ERA on the team.

I swear Jacobs sucks! I know he has power but he has to be the easiest strike out on the team

'member when Buck was hitting?
On a similar note, it's no fun watching 4 hitters you were counting on to have predictably solid (if not better) years all suck balls at the same for three weeks and counting. Aviles, DeJesus, Butler, Gordon. Especially Gordon. |

Buck has never hit well. He gets 1-2 games here and there and then sucks for 10-12

The good: We destroyed your team. It was awesome.
The bad: I started Meche in fantasy on both of my teams. |

I was being sarcastic. I agree he is a frustrating player to watch. The 1-2 games are power bonanzas tho...makes people want to play him to see if he can EVER be consistent. It's not looking promising to me.

I don't care what anyone says, I'm ecstatic that they are hovering around .500 as April comes to a close. Now they have to keep it up in May and not fall down a man hole.

HAHA I told you all Olivio was just as good if not better hitter than Buck. You all scoffed at me. Either way, our catchers are the least of this teams problems. They hit for power, and do what they are supposed to do. Appears Buck has at least learned how to throw runners out occasionally this year. Don't know what the deal was last year.

There is nothing more I love in baseball more than being in contention during the trade deadline, other than October baseball. If that could happen, I'd take a week off just to watch the wires. That's baseball.
Anyway, today isn't a big deal. Toronto has a good offense, and Meche will have a bad game now and then. He's a great #2 though, and we shouldn't get concerned about him. Crappy game - let's recover tomorrow. |

I've been thinking Greinke gives up his first ER tomorrow.
