did any one else notice that our board bretheren (coalition) have now went to bed with a sportsbook? after watching many posters being booted because of their unsavory reputation bringing down the reputation of their classy board, it seems funny that they now promote the devil (bodog). they cancelled their nudie women thread because it made them look bad. I know that many of their mods get their ideas from this site. i wonder where they got this one. this site has much better content, posters, and now ethics. good luck to the coalition in their quest to snuggle up to the chiefs now that they are now a gambling website. game over - no contest - the planet rules!!!!!!!!!!

I am sorry if you are guys are offended that someone does not think you forum is 100% perfect and that a person prefers diversity instead of being in the same circle jerk. The same type of circle jerk you guys are bashing. I am sorry that you guys can't accept those that don't say, I am 100% a planateer, but I love coming here once a day. Supposedly this forum was above that.

I don't recall any CC member here on this forum, coming out and saying the CC is a better or worse forum. I certainly don't remember any of them saying the CP sucks. I think what is being said, and blown out of the water by people arguing just to argue, is that FOR Chiefs information the CC forum, is formatted better, instead of having to dig through Bs to get the content. It does not mean the content is better or worse.

I also know that the same CC members on here, defended CP weeks ago, when a thread was started about the CC being the best forum, after the CC forum was down for upgrades.

I know what you mean. You missed my response because the thread got hot with other topics. That is my only issue with the Chiefs information on this forum.

There is also a very interesting thread about why James Hasty is very down on Gunther, and calling him highly over rated. it was posted by FormerDB, while he had lunch and dinner with James Hasty over the suprebowl week.

I know the Chiefs Talk only forum is slow. That is why I am over here now, not discussing the Chiefs.

CP isn't perfect, and quite honestly, I think has declined of late. I do have a good laugh at the regular insinuations, by members of boards that don't really allow for a disenting view, try to pull that card here of all places.

Well I missed it due to speed and volume of the posts on this thread. I appreciate that, frankly, so we can disagree on that. As for information, I have yet in my 5+ years here to miss a single piece of information with regard to a Chiefs trade/acquisition/firing or any other transaction. I dont really care if it's 'First' like the Athan bunch...I'll get it in due time.

As far as the Hasty/Gunther thing, I dont find it suprising. Many people here think that Gun is overrated as well. That discussion has been had so many times on this forum, it's boring. Everyone's hashed out their position and there's really nothing else to say.

As far as 'who will KC get' in FA, that's nothing more than rampant speculation and is nothing I would consider anymore worthwhile than a poop thread. Quite frankly you can wish for Abraham in one hand and crap in the other and see which fills up first.

In a month, FA season will open up, KC wont sign a player in the first 3 minutes of Free Agency and the season will be declared over and we'll then move on to more important things like your favorite movies or road trip games.

In my opinion the CC forum is still growing, and not dropping off. Since the Mods go out of the way to welcome all new members, there is new growth ever day. Just because people joined here does not mean they left the CC.

September 2005. Was the Chiefs Coalition, party. Opening day against the Jets! Phobia crashed our party with a some other CP members. They were welcomed with open arms. I sat next to Phobia for the first half and had a good time watching the game with him. At the half I left the top row of AH to go down to the lower bowl to find my sister and brother in-law. Was given the wrong section number and I looked and looked in the wrong section when nm dbf, sees my CC shirt and calls me over. I spend about 10 minutes talking to him, and he tells me that he was with Phobia at the Cc tailgate part and recognized my shirt. I had a great time talking to him. Thanks to him, I was able to find my sister.

Based on my experience with both CP members, I joined up to see what the CP was about.

I then joined Dartgod and Royc75 for the golf outing before the 38 and Forever get together. Ever since then I have visited regularly. I always check the CC Chiefs forum, first then come here every morning and during lunch.

I have never seen any hostility towards the CC forum, except the day Domer joined this forum, and vented his feelings and then after Domer started this thread venting his feelings in this thread. I have nothing against Domer and I am sure he has his reason to justify his venting. By the Way Domer, Boss loves to bet on the Chiefs games.

Personally I am shocked. I didn't realize there was that much hostility towards the CC forum or its members. I figured everyone got along. I guess there can only be one Duncan McCloud.

Really, You were not shocked that James Hasty, who played his whole Chiefs career under Gunther. The same person, who retired the year Gunther was fired becasue he woulnd't play under G. Robinson again. Had nothing good to say about Gunther. I thought he would be a little more loyal.

While his reasoning is the same opinion in greater detail, is the same as the opinion of those who think he is over rated.

I agree, I thought it was a bad move before hiring him again, but I was shocked to see Hasty rip him.

In effort for accuracy, you would have spoken to them at the "37forever" meeting....not 38 and forever. Its in honor of #37, Joe Delaney....not Kimble Anders. I participate in that function most every year. A good group.
