Gambling Challenge 2006 Signups

I suppose it's not too early to start organizing this. I assume you all want me to run this again. If not, let me know, my feelings will not be hurt.

I will absolutely, positively cut this off at 50 participants and last year's players have first dibs at their spots. We actually had 56 last year because I caved and added some people at the last minute, but I WILL NOT do that this year. I know some of the people in the list below will not re-up because I don't see them post anymore, so I'm pretty sure there will be a few spots open for new players.

For last year's players:
Please indicate in this thread whether or not you intend to participate again.

For potential new players:
Please indicate in this thread that you would like to be placed on the waiting list. At a yet to be determined date, I will fill the empty spots on a first come, first served basis.

As a reminder, here is a brief rundown of the rules:
1. You are given 10k to start out and can bet up to 5k on any one bet. There is a $500 minimum bet unless you have less than that in which case you would be all in.
2. Payouts are at 90% unless otherwise stated. –170 would mean you have to bet $170 to win $100. +250 would mean you would get a $250 payout on every $100 bet.
3. You must bet at least once every 3 weeks or you are eliminated. If you cannot commit to participating at least this much please let us know now so somebody else can take your place.
4. Contingency bets are allowed.
5. There are no parlays
6. All bets must be placed before the start of the game.
7. You can also change your original bet as long as that game has not kicked off yet, BUT DO NOT EDIT YOUR ORIGINAL POST. If you wish to change your bet, create a new post stating what your original bet was and what you want to change it to. Any other method will not be allowed and the original bet will stand!

I didn't do it last year, but did several years before that.

In other words, shat are the odds of me leapfrogging the n00bs?

Actually, just add me to the bottom of the list.

Headsnap is definitely inside the game when it comes to this. He was #2 last year and if I had to make a bet on who would win this, he would be the preseason favorite.

The dude must make a living doing this stuff.

Sorry you missed the sign up period. I can add your name to the waiting list if you want. Any inactive players in the first two weeks are booted so you could still get a spot.
