I'm not so sure. 50 million dollar investment in a player whose knees can't last too much longer, IMO. The guy plays at 370-380 lbs.

Hopefully Svitek is ready to step up. I've got doubts about Turley's durability.

I would rather give LJ a 50 million dollar signing bonus than Leonard Davis a 50 million dollar contract. Now watch him make the Pro Bowl.

Roaf could play until he's 40 IMO.

Well he is a Cowboy now---that counts for a lot when it comes to a popularity contest like the Pro Bowl.

Does this sound like someone talking about a knee sprain that will just lead to a player missing 2 or 3 preseason games?

Good Lord, with a rookie QB behind two horrible pass-blocking tackles - we might throw just 10-15 times a game. Hope Bowe is ready to block.

“We’ll talk about what we’re going to do short-term and long-term,” said Edwards, who then tried to put the situation in a better light.

“Remember last year and what happened to us on opening day?” he said, referring to quarterback Trent Green’s concussion. “We found a way to keep playing.

I hate watching the local news that hasn't done any follow up. They watched McIntosh being carted off the field and they just start spouting on air how serious the injury is. It may be, but with out any knowledge it seems reckless to say things like, "A potentially season ending injury" as they did on NBC tonight.

I can see Svitek steppin in at LT; however, from what I saw at T.C. you better get used to the idea of Turley at RT....cause he's probably our best bet there....unless Terry steps it up, BIG-time.

It's about time Svitek got a chance. That said, if he couldn't even beat black out last year... I'd rather not think about it.

Svitek was super raw and super tired from NFL Europe last year. He wasn't ready and that's why he got hurt.

I'm gonna watch him really close tomorrow.

Have you not listened to Herm long enough to know that you really can't trust a whole lot of what he says? Nothing against him but I take anything he says with a grain of salt. He really isn't a straight shooter with the press and he goes off on rants about nothing. He's simply preaching the company line with this one. He's talking to the press without giving out one bit of information.

Also, if the results of the MRI were known by then then I'm sure we would know how bad it is. If the MRI results are not known yet then I doubt Herm knows a whole lot more than we do.

Also, somebody on here did say they saw McIntosh walking afterwards. That's a good sign IMO. Brian Waters' injury looked pretty bad yet he was back in less than a month.
