Forget conference pride, I will never cheer for Oklahoma

I'm a KU fan but this thread if ****ing reeruned.

Obviously, I live in Oklahoma now and I was pulling for them tonight.

How the **** is Bob Stoops a choker when he has been to 4 BCS games in the last ten years? He won one, lost two fairly close games and his team shit the bed against USC(one of the best teams of the last several years)

All of the programs most of us root for would give our left nut for that kind of track record. Also, when he took over this program they are worse off than Sam Hall's Cornhuskers were under Callahan. I'm betting Sam would give Callahan a rim job to get his Stoops.

I can understand people hate OU and that's perfectly fine. There are teams I have a blind hatred for as well. The myth that they can't win a big game any more is complete and utter bullshit. They could have easily won tonight. Granted other teams may have deserved to be in their place but they weren't.

Go on hating OU but please stop the Stoops is the Marv Leavy of college football shit. He did win a Championship with an undefeated team who beat anyone who was close competition.

This is the same as calling KU a joke for losing so many final fours and only winning a few championships. It is truly ****ing reeruned.

Yeah, OU will still be down next year but I would bet they are still better than KU, Nebraska and Mizzou. I bet they win many national championships before any of these teams ever sniff one as well.

We better beat them this year because the chance won't come very often.

By the way. I agree with the oringal point of the thread. I don't root for conference teams that I don't like either. It's the dancing on OU's grave shit that makes me laugh. I wish KU was so unlucky.

I also find it interesting that you dog Stoops for Bomar but Osbourne definately knew Lawrence Phillips threw his bitch down a flight of stairs and let him play in the National Championship game. Nebraska has no in state talent and hasn't been able to recruit nationally since Osbourne. They may never be at the level they once were. I like Nebraska as much as Oklahoma to be honest. I just find it a joke that people are considering Oklahoma a failure. The tide will most likely turn for them if they keep getting in those games.

As a KU fan I'll take 4 title games and 1 BCS title every ten years all day long.

You are entitled to your opinion though. Enjoy your 6-6 to 8-3 seasons while Stoops continues to fail with Big 12 titles and BCS championship appearances.

Nebraska has never been on probation for violating NCAA rules. Go ahead and point to Lawrence Phillips like everyone else. He was suspended for the first half of that game, which was costly in a close game. OU has almost as many probations as national titles.
