Food and Drink Wine - Page 7

Okay, so I'm thinking of getting a bottle of wine to drink tomorrow night. Any suggestions?

I tend to like white, but I want to try some red.
I don't like something really dry.
I tend to like it a little sweet.
Something without too much of an aftertaste.
No more than $15-20 for the bottle. I don't mind cheap wine.

Blackbox is pretty decent for what it is. The reserve merlot is actually pretty good but hard to find.

That's bad, right? I wouldn't know good wine from sea water, but she seems to like it.

It's only $2.00 more at the Total Beverage up in Westminster. If that's anywhere close to you at least.

If you are looking for a good readily available Cab, Chateau st Michelle out of Washington is worth a try. The Columbia Valley is around $11 and the Indian Wells, which the next step up, is around $15-16.

Red=Pinot Noir
White=Pinot Griggio
