I don't know, in this first round I've seen alot of trade ups where teams got something that didn't make sense in the real world. It'd be refreshing to have Pioli pick the picks that are pretty much consensus BPA.

If Minnesota wanted Clausen, they would've taken him at 30 and not traded back, knowing St. Louis held the cards when it came to a possible trade to start round 2.

I think it's more likely a team does trade up with St. Louis.

I've been going over old interviews on youtube and I think I'm leaving with the same idea most NFL scouts have: he's just a kid.

I know, they're all kids. 21, 22, whatever. But he really doesn't seem to have the...I guess you'd say maturity of a guy you want leading your team.

He's smart, he's got the talent, he's got the experience, he just comes off as...well, a kid. I don't agree with the experts that he's the perfect plug and play QB and apparently neither do most NFL teams.

But I also think that makes him perfect for us...

I'd have to check, but I don't think washington has that pick anymore.

you are correct after Minnesota it's the Bucs then KC, and looking at that draft order Clausen may very well fall to KC.

Skins and the Chiefs switch between the fourth and the fifth every other round in the 2010 draft. Chiefs have the fourth pick in the even rounds and the fifth pick in the odd rounds (with the exception of the third round, where Washington used it's pick in the supplemental draft).

With all the talk in here about Cody I have to say I'd rather have Cam Thomas, or Brian Price over Cody. I think they both are better fits at NT than Cody who I think is kind of a slug.
