Life Possible Honeymoon destinations? - Page 7

I guess the males family pays for the honeymoon portion of a wedding. So, I want to avoid asking my father for help towards this. We have been together for a year now and we are getting married May 21, 2011. I'm on a budget for this, so where should we go? I have no clue as to where to take her. She has traveled to Europe and always talks about going overseas again. I don't think I can afford something like that. I was thinking Florida or somewhere near a beach. Maybe somewhere near a good lake. How much would an estimate be on a honeymoon like that?

My fiancee' and I are getting married June 11 then we are off to Jamaica for 10 days!!!

Is it wrong to play the Chiefs "we're gonna beat the hell out of you!" song for one of the before wedding songs while everyone is getting seated? lol

Flight was $800
Cruise was $800
Spending was around $800

and it was all worth it. The cruise was awesome as was the beach excursion we took.

My wife and I went on a cruise for our honeymoon and we loved it! Great food and there's always something to do
