Read what Clark is looking for in his hand picked head coach and tell me in Ferentz fits the description. No way in hell does he fit the mold of what Clark states he's looking for.

Peter King on NBC last night was very definitive in saying that Ferentz would NOT be a candidate for the Chiefs HC position.

Combine that with what Clark said today... I'd say this report has no credibility.

It's my guess this is all about negotiating a buyout, or Hunt is offering a diminished role for Pioli.

Just some guesses for why he'd wait.

Thus the reason I stated that Pioli's days are numbered. For reasons unknown, whether it be Hunts lawyers working out the financial details, or Clark forcing Pioli to retire by bypassing him on what SHOULD be his job, I don't know. One way or another, I feel about 90% certain we'll have a new GM on draft day. Hopefully one who takes the time to talk to our current scouts, and recognizes the importance of a franchise QB to an NFL franchise.
