Physioc and Hudler may be the most annoying broadcasting duo in sports. At least Dickie V has to shut up some portion of the time.

You look at the team stats of Gordon leading off vs batting 3rd and have to wonder WTF Yost was thinking to change it in the first place?

Because Alex Gordon belongs in the 3 hole.

Him batting 3rd was not your problem. He's a born 3 hitter; power, speed, OB ability. He absolutely belongs batting 3rd.

It's not his fault that every other sorry sack of shit in that lineup cratered when he batted 3rd.

Gordon at leadoff reminds me a lot of the Tribe when Grady Sizemore lead off for them. He is not your typical leadoff hitter but it works and works better than anything else we have right now so you go with it.

Right, but Ned can't mortgage his future on pretending like his lineup is playoff-ready. It's a shame that our superstar is the only guy who has the appropriate tools for the leadoff spot, but it's the situation we're in.
