Alex Smith Stats predictions thread

Figured we have done enough bitching about the guy.

here is the time to go on record, and put up and shut up.

1. How many games will he play.
2. Passing Yards, completion percentage, tds. ints, fumbles LOST, sacks.
3. Record

I want to see who really feels what. And yes, It is early, it is the first day of training camp, I get that. Put up, or shut up.

Ill go First.

He Will play all the games.

3800 yards passing, 65 % completions 26 tds, 12 ints, 3 fumbles lost, and 30 sacks taken. Also, he will have a 95 qbr. Not the espn stupid shit......

Record, 10-6 Wild Card Birth.

Just a reminder to all that last year Alex Smith on pace to throw for 3,318 passing yards and 24 TD's in a very conservative offense.

He's not going to complete 70 percent of his passes here.

Yeah and that would be great if he were in a conservative offense here. But he's not.

He's about to throw it about 615 times this year, or about 38 times per game. He's either going to be really good, or it's going to be terrible. No more hiding in this offense.

He's going to be put in great situations. Very similar to what he had under Harbaugh. Lots of options to throw to.

He's going to make the same passes that he did in SF, which made him look so good. He's just going to be making those passes far more often under Reid.

I don't care if he's completing 5, 10, 15 and 20 yard passes all year. As long as he moves the chains. It only takes 10 yards to get a first down.

Reid's passing offense, isn't really anything like Harbaughs offense and you're going to be let down if you think it is.

He was making all those throws, doing all that in an offense predicated on being big and physical and running the football, and he was throwing on running downs.

Total philosophical change.

Physically he can make the throws, but it's a totally different situation here.

49ers were 30th in passing first downs in 2011.

Jeeez, decent yards followed by 100% systems failure... i'm not going to take part in this guessathon, but in no way can he possibly be that bad.

I never saidf smith is a "total bum' nor did I gargle cassel's semen...both utter dishonesty by a moron with zero intellect.

LOL....Yes I once 'gargled' cassels semen by saying he was mediocre when he was mediocre

Now, I am saying smith is mediocre while you queer baits and pillowbiter hags ass slap each other with your green day beach towels, giggling drinking pink margaritas, while being overjoyed by alex smith.

The irony here is there are plenty of people guilty of 'gargling' on alex smith but yet i never gargled on cassel.

I merely said (in 2010 before the season) that we should let him start the season, as opposed to benching him. For not jumping on the hate wagon i was forever branded.

I say the same thing now in regards to alex smith...lets give him a chance....we have no choice now.

But I don't really see a huge difference between the two QB's....essentially they are both game managers. I never once said cassel was anything more than a game manager, besides maybe giving him props during a specific game for a good play or something.

Much like a westboro baptist member, you can supress your own 'gargling' desires for alex smith , while calling ME a gargler...

but it wont change the truth.

The real difference here is WE ALREADY TRIED THIS, in 2009.

I was ok with trying it in 09....I think it is a mistake now, with hindsight. And I think getting smith is a mistake....after what we have just been through.

He's lining up multiple TE's already. Sometimes 3. He's using the TE's the same way Harbaugh did. We also have a better rushing attack than them. Charles is easily better than Gore.

That's why I love Reid. He plays to a players strength. He's incorporating what Harbaugh used, along with some of the spread variance which Alex ran in college.
