Santonio Holmes visits the Chiefs

According to a league source cited by Mike Florio of NBC’s Pro Football Talk, the Chiefs recently brought the veteran wideout in for a conversation.

However, per Florio, “he didn’t work out for the Chiefs, and it’s unclear if he’ll be offered a contract.”

I don't care for his attitude. He's always been a malcontent, which is why he was traded to the Jets for a fifth round draft choice. Leading up to the Bears-Jets game this season, no one on the Jets sent him a text about meeting up or to say "hi" or anything at all. He stated outright that he wouldn't shake hands with any of the Jets players after the game ended.

He's a poor sport, a locker room cancer and his skills have declined so far that he's just not worth the trouble.

That said, I'm still impressed that John Dorsey brought him in. He's leaving no stone unturned in an effort to constantly upgrade the Chiefs roster if possible.

Holmes can get his ass on down the road, but KC needs a good vet signing coupled with a legit pick, not this pile of doo-doo + Bowe.
