Cobb re-signs with GB

@AdamSchefter: Randall Cobb back to Green Bay on a 4-year, $40 million deal, per source.

Here comes Reggie Wayne

What, exactly, have those guys done after leaving GB, and Rodgers?
This is an utterly reeruned thing to say, as we look at GB paying Jordy an average of 9 mil yr and now Cobb 10 mil apy.

Why do this? why spend so much of your cap on WR, when Rodgers can make any WR into such a potent weapon?

Oooops... logic fail, yeah?

Some of that is on Rodgers.

That line is improved somewaht form previous years, but Rodgers one weakness is that he does hold the ball for too long waiting on plays to develop.

He gets away with that because of his mobility, but he's going to have to evolve into more of a Brady/Manning type, who gets the ball out quickly, rather than waiting for big plays to develop.

No, dipshit.

These are good recievers, as was Jennings, but receivers are not going to produce at the same level playing with scrubs like Cassel, unless you have an OC like Charlie Weiss, who recognizes the flawed QB and finds a way to maximize his limitations, rather than trying to get him to be something he isn't.

These flawed QBs minimalize their receivers.

Way to do absolutely nothing to discuss the point. Why pay the GB WRs so much of the team cap, if Aaron is so wonderful that he can excel with less? QBs like Aaron make the WRs, right? so why not just keep rotating in cheap WRs so that Aaron can make the next batch special and GB can allocate the resources elsewhere?

These are good receivers, which I already said, dipshit.

The Packers are not going to just let them walk unless they feel they have the guys in place to replace them.

They let Jennings, a good receiver, walk, because they had Cobb ready.

Rodgers could make crap receivers look OK, but he makes good receivers into outstanding receivers.
