This will be Smiths best year EVER !

Andy Reid says it takes 3-4 years to learn his offense. Smith should have that in the bag now. I think the last part of Andy's install is the part where he teaches the QB to look downfield so this year all the pieces of Andy's complex puzzle are in place.

Plus Smiff is playing for a contract now.

Feel free to discuss.

Not at all a great OL this season, as hoped, but they are also out of the bottom tier for the first time in the Andy era.
which directly underscores what I'd told you.

All that digging from Discuss.. only served to prove you are on the losing end of this particular conflict... so go ahead.. thank him again.

The first three quoted posts from October all said the o line was bottom tier, and that was in defense of Smith's play.

Disingenuous

Specifically, right after the Pittsburgh debacle for the first two quotes and then right after the Indy game when Smith got hurt.

Curious, that.

Right now Mahomes has done shit compared to Todd Blackledge. Blackledge 2.0 I hope he isn't.

Mahomes may never pan out but hearing all the bullshit is cute.

I hope Mahomes plays well for the CHIEFS for many years. He is in a great situation to learn from someone who has seen more than most anyone.

I wouldn't mind seeing what Tyler Bray has to show. 3 quarterbacks on the roster that aren't absolutely embarrassing.

Clark, Dorsey and Reid have us in the penthouse now, wasn't long ago we were in the cellar.

Wrong again, or just disingenuous yourself. I'll break the three down for you:

Quote:
(1) I'd say 10-6, but if the OL can get above bottom tier, and Houston returns to be effective? yeah, maybe more than 10.
This was in reference to how many wins on the season... hence, hindsight. No one could crown the pass pro OL until further in the year.

Quote:
Apparently Alex is not good enough to lift the playcalling, bottom tier OL, and frequent skill player ****ups.. out of the water.
Again, not time to fully assess the OL on the year, and never specifically distinguishes in pass pro or run blocking.

Quote:
He needs an OL that doesn't constantly live in the bottom tier.
It has been the run blocking that I have complained about all season. The run blocking as pretty shitty all year. I felt the pass pro on the whole was sufficient.. so I was disappointed that Smith didn't step his game up.

Wow, the rookie minicamp just finished yesterday. I thought it would at least take until the OTAs before the crap started.
